What Is Remote Provisioning?​
Remote Provisioning allows administrators to pre-configure devices before deployment. This means that when a device is powered on, it automatically connects to a pre-assigned configuration server, applying the necessary settings without manual intervention. This process is particularly beneficial for businesses deploying multiple devices, as it saves time and reduces the risk of configuration errors.
How Does WiLine's RPS Work?​

Device Identification: Each VoIP phone has a unique MAC address. WiLine uses this identifier to recognize and assign the appropriate configuration to the device.

Automatic Configuration: Upon initial startup, the device connects to WiLine's RPS server, retrieves its configuration, and applies the settings automatically.

Ready to Use: Once configured, the device is fully operational, allowing users to start making calls immediately.

Getting Started​
To take advantage of WiLine's RPS:

Access the Admin Portal: Log into your Admin Portal account.

Navigate to Device Provisioning: In the sidebar, go to Activations > Devices. Click the New button in the options bar and select the Provisioning tab. Here, you can register your devices by entering their MAC addresses and Serial Numbers.

Assign Configurations: Within the Admin Portal, assign the desired configurations to each registered device.

Deploy Devices: Ship the pre-configured devices to your users. Upon powering on, the devices will automatically apply the assigned configurations, ensuring a hassle-free setup.
